Responsibilities:

Oppchain Inc is growing its team of ServiceNow Technical Consultants working from home or Oppchain Inc offices across Canada to provide expertise to our growing number of ServiceNow projects.

Specific duties include:

  • Working with clients and providing leadership on best practices and understanding and utilizing Oppchain Inc’s ServiceNow methodologies, collateral, and accelerators
  • Assisting with demonstrations of ServiceNow platform capabilities
  • Participating in Project team collaboration sessions with PM, Solution Architects and Process Consultants
  • Providing support for existing ServiceNow solutions and recommending opportunities for enhancements
  • Growing ServiceNow skills and knowledge through formal training, mentorship and hands-on experience
  • Committing to staying current with major platform releases by ensuring all delta certifications are completed in a timely manner

In your role, you will:

  • Respond to and manage all ServiceNow issues including troubleshooting ServiceNow upgrades, patching, and release management.
  • Develop, design, configure, test and deployment of new/enhancements of the application including but not limited to, modules, workflows, catalog requests, scripts, reporting, data imports, custom scripting, third-party software integrations, user interface and other ServiceNow platform component.
  • Produce detailed documentation and required training on all relevant work.
  • Be responsible to maintain up-to-date documentation related to the application administration and configuration. Document and support technical architectures that are clearly understood by other architects, developers, and testers.
  • Manage ServiceNow instances, including the data management, table maintenance, overall security of the platform, configuring Service Level Agreements, developing workflows, business rules, UI pages, UI actions, UI policies, catalog items etc. and updates of all other existing solutions requiring revisions.
  • Be responsible for Data Import process & migration.
  • Be responsible for On-going technical support for the ServiceNow system & user training.
  • Create & Maintain ServiceNow Reports, Saved Searches & Dashboards.
  • Design and architect ServiceNow CMDB and Discovery Jobs.
  • Act as an administrator for all ITSM modules.
  • Implement platform upgrades, application upgrades, review skipped changes, coordinate testing with stakeholders, and maintain data between ServiceNow and external systems.

Qualifications:

  • You have 3+ years of hands-on experience in System Definition, Business Rules, Menus, UI/Forms, UI Actions, Content Management, Imports, Transform Maps, Web Services (SOAP, REST, including cross-browser compatibility), and Notifications (e.g. XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, TCP/IP, etc.).
  • You have ServiceNow Fundamentals and Administrator Certification.
  • You have a University degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent.
  • You have excellent communication skills and a strong personal commitment to quality service.
  • You have ability to organize work as a project and work across multiple projects
  • Current status to work legally in Canada
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
